May 16-17, 2008 Jumping clinic with Amy Barrington

Amy Barrington has evented for 30 years. She has been long listed for the team on three horses, most recently Platinum who completed Foxhall and Fairhill with no jumping penalties. Amy was named to the 2005 USEA winter training list with Platinum. She successfully coaches from novice to advanced levels.

June 15-16, 2008 Dressage clinic with Diane Royce

Diane Royce is a highly regarded "R" rated judge with a fun, down-to-earth style of teaching! Get a judges perspective on your training issues and break through to a new level of riding awareness!

July 11-12, 2008 Jumping clinic with Jonathan Holling

The Organizers of The Event Derby will be hosting a clinic with Jonathan Holling on July 11-12, 2008. The jumping clinic will be group lessons. Group size limited to 5 riders. Participants will be grouped according to level with an opportunity to school some of the competition fences. Jonathan has competed through the advanced CCI**** level on many horses. He has ridden at such world famous events as The Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event, Burghley Horse Trials, and the World Cup Eventing Finals in Malmo Sweden. His partners at these events include Lion King and Direct Merger. Jon's most recent partner, Tinkatoo is showing great promise for the advanced level. Jon has been given the honor of being considered by the U.S. team numerous times and is currently on the U.S. training squad. More information can be found at http://www.hollingeventing.com

Horsewise Enterprises Summer Dressage camps
July 25-27th and August 1-3rd, 2008

This is real "sitting 'round the campfire" experience, with camping in your own camper, tent or on-site tee pees (hotels close by for city-types!) homemade food, a field trip to Debbie McDonald's facility, two dressage lessons and/or practice tests each day, plus lot's of other fun stuff! Beginners are welcome! Space is limited to no more than 10 people per camp, so come camp with your horse and treat yourself to a great mini horse vacation!!

August 15-16 , 2008 Daniel Stewart Clinic

Daniel Stewart Clinic August 15-16 Come join us for 3 fun days in the mountains by McCall, Idaho August 15-16. Whitetail Ridge Arena and McCall Pony Club are happy to welcome Daniel Stewart as our guest clinician. Daniel has been coaching current and future prospect of the U.S. Riding Team since 1999. Most recently he coached the US team at the World Equestrian Game in Spain, World Endurance Championship in Dubai UAE and the 2004 Athens games in Athens Greece. Prior to becoming a US coach he taught and competed around the world. He has a degree in Exercise Science and Psychology and has worked as sports psychology consultant to many national riding teams including Portugal and Canada. Daniel is considered one of the worlds leading authorities on equestrian biomechanics, conditioning and sport psychology. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn from the best, work on the quality of both you and your horse. We hope you will stay on and participate in the fun Event Derby on Sunday August 17, 2008

September 20, 2008 Jumping clinic with Sara Mittleider

Sara Mittleider was on the USEF short list for the 2006 World Equestrian Games Aachen, Germany. In 2006, she trained with U.S. event team coach, Captain Mark Phillips, Robert Dover, and Laura Kraut. In 2006, Sara received the Mars Grant for training in England and the Amanda Warrington Grant for riders showing great promise at the international level. In 2006, Sara was the highest placing Young Rider at the Kentucky Rolex CCI**** and won the Best Conditioned Horse Award. In 2007, Sara was the highest placed young rider and 12th overall at the Kentucky Rolex CCI****. More information about Sara can be found at www.saramittleider.com.
